FACILITIES

Archery

Picture
The archery range provides several 3D targets, a moving target to hone hunting and archery shooting skills, and a tower stand from which to shoot. Specific Archery Shoots are held during the year.

Clubhouse

Picture
An enclosed large meeting space, with small, full kitchen.  Used for regular monthly meetings, the annual meeting (held each December), special meetings, scheduled classes, and other events.  Members are provided with the entry code and may use the Clubhouse when onsite (and when not conflicting with Club activities).  Members may also reserve the Clubhouse for private parties, for a fee, providing that reservation does not conflict with Club-sponsored activities and complies with Club guidelines.

Fishing Pond

Picture
A pond is onsite for fishing purposes.  Swimming and wading are not permitted.  In order to keep the pond well stocked, members are advised to catch and release bass, but may catch and retain catfish and other stocked fish.  The pond is also used for the annual Youth Fishing Derby.

Hunting

Picture
Hunting areas are provided by local area landowners.  These can change annually.  Check with a Board member for details.

Click on the link below to download the form for permission to hunt or trap on private land.

Note: Use of the ranges for shooting of firearms is restricted to the following times:
Monday - Saturday: 9 A.M. to 9:30 P.M.
Sunday: 12 P.M. (Noon) - 9:30 P.M.

Range

Picture
The range is outside, and has a maximum distance of 100 yards.  The range is used for many Club and fund-raising activities, such as Practical Defense Shoots, .22 LR Shoots, and Concealed Carry Classes.  At other times, the range is available to members on a first-come, first-served basis.  If someone is already shooting when a member arrives, the first member is considered to have established the distance from which to shoot.  The next member to arrive can either join at that distance or wait until the first member has finished.

Turkey Shoot Range

Picture
Turkey Shoots are held on Sunday afternoons during the fall and winter months, October-March.  These shoots are open to the general public.
